After a disastrous hookup, Sarah finds herself stranded in Alice Springs, only to run into her ex, Catherine. In the endorphin rush that follows, she impulsively proposes they have a baby together. Catherine, against all better judgement, says yes.

Passionfruit will be a wry, warm, and bittersweet look at what it actually takes to build a life with someone, not the romanticised version, but the real one. It trades the sanitised, straightwashed take on pregnancy for something more honest: IVF, donor shortlists, and the financial and emotional toll of trying to start a family before you’ve worked out how to be in a relationship. For Sarah, a lifelong romantic who prefers the idea of love to its messier realities, and Catherine, who has kept people at a careful distance for years, it’s a reckoning in opposite directions, and a story about starting over, romantically and geographically.

A first hand documentary telling the story of Holocaust survivor Jack Meister, from liberation at Auschwitz to building a new life in Australia.

Meister: The Story of Jack Meister OAM

Jack Meister OAM spent much of his life ensuring the lessons of history were never forgotten. When he and his family approached us to make this documentary, he was clear about his vision: he wanted his story shared as a warm, direct, and personal conversation, much like the talks he gave for years at the Sydney Jewish Museum. Jack passed away in late 2025 at the age of 97, but we are committed to finishing the film he started with us.

Meister is a short documentary that captures Jack’s first-hand narrative. It follows his journey from the horrors of the Holocaust to his rehabilitation and his rich life in Australia. This isn’t just a film about the past, it’s an educational tool built for the future.
